Northville Industries Headquartered In Melville Supports United Way Of Long Island With A $30,000 Contribution

February 15, 2024 Since 1994, the United Way of Long Island’s Project Warmth has provided more than $13 million to assist over 31,000 families. It is one of the country’s oldest non-government fuel funds, serving as a model across the United States. United Way is grateful to its many funders, including Northville Industries, for supporting Project Warmth. According to Gene Bernstein, Chairman of Northville Industries and Chair of the Project Warmth Fuel Fund Committee, “For 70 years Northville Industries has been keeping Long Islanders warm through its business, and we are delighted to also be helping through our philanthropy. We salute our co-supporters at Project Warmth and encourage other local businesses to join our effort.”

March 2, 2022 (Deer Park, NY) United Way of Long Island’s Project Warmth Fuel Fund Committee, a group of key representatives from the energy sector across Long Island including Northville Industries headquartered in Melville, is at the forefront of helping to warm the homes and hearts of neighbors in temporary financial distress.
Due to the collective efforts of individuals and corporations, United Way was able to impact over 3,200 adults and children, including seniors and veterans in need of emergency heating assistance this winter season. Project Warmth Committee members have been especially generous; this includes a recent $30,000 contribution from Northville Industries.
